How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your TellBill account, please follow these simple steps:
- Send an email to theonyekachithompson@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include your registered email address in the message body so we can verify your identity
We'll review your request and process it promptly. For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before proceeding.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data associated with your account will be removed:
- Personal information (name, email address, phone number)
- Invoice and billing data
- Payment method information
- Uploaded files (receipts, images, documents)
- Voice recordings and transcriptions
- Subscription and plan history
- All project and client information
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have backed up any important data before requesting deletion.
Data Retention Policy
While most data is deleted immediately upon request processing, please note:
- Financial records: Some transaction and payment records may be retained for 90 days for accounting and tax compliance purposes
- Legal records: Records may be retained as required by applicable laws and regulations
- Final deletion: After the retention period expires, all remaining data is permanently deleted from our servers
- Backups: Data may remain in automated backups for up to 30 days before being permanently purged
Processing Time
Once we receive your account deletion request:
- Verification: We'll verify your identity (usually within 2 business days)
- Processing: Your account and data will be deleted within 7 business days of verification
- Confirmation: We'll send you an email confirming the deletion has been completed
Requests are processed during business days. Weekend and holiday requests may take longer to process.
