1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using TellBill ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Use License
TellBill grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for lawful purposes only, in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. You agree not to:
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any portion of the Service without express written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted portions or features of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Create automated tools or scripts to access the Service without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code or algorithms
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
3.1 Account Registration
To use TellBill, you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password.
3.2 User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected breach
- You agree to provide accurate client information and project details
- You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of invoices you create
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
3.3 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use TellBill. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use this service.
4. Payment & Subscription Terms
4.1 Pricing & Billing
- Free Tier: No payment required (subject to usage limits)
- Solo Plan: $14/month (billed monthly or annually at discounted rate)
- Professional Plan: $34/month (billed monthly or annually at discounted rate)
- Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing (contact sales for quote)
4.2 Automatic Renewal
Paid plans are automatically renewed unless canceled. Your subscription will renew on the same day each billing cycle. You will be charged using the payment method on file.
4.3 Cancellation & Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- No refunds are provided for partial months or unused service
- Refund requests for billing errors must be submitted within 30 days
4.4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and RevenueCat. By providing payment information, you authorize these third-party payment processors to charge your account. TellBill does not store your credit card information.
4.5 Price Changes
TellBill reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
5. Usage Limits & Fair Use
- Free Tier: Limited invoices per month, basic features
- Solo Plan: Higher invoice limits, advanced features
- Professional Plan: Unlimited invoices, all premium features, team collaboration
- API & Rate Limiting: Users are subject to rate limits to prevent service abuse
Excessive usage that impacts service availability for other users may result in service suspension or termination.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio) is owned by TellBill, its licensors, or other providers of such material and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.
6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload (invoices, client data, etc.). By using TellBill, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TellBill is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service. We disclaim all warranties including:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties of non-infringement of third-party rights
- Warranties of accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of information
- Warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free service
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TellBill and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Business interruption
- Loss of business opportunity
- Reputational harm
In no case shall TellBill's total liability for all claims exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TellBill and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from any claims, damages, or costs (including attorney fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Your use of the Service
- Your content or data uploaded to the Service
- Violation of any third-party rights
- Any illegal activity conducted through your account
10. Termination
TellBill may terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Non-payment after 30 days of notice
- Abuse of the Service or other users
- Any reason at TellBill's sole discretion with 30 days' notice
Upon termination, your access to the Service will be immediately revoked, though you may request download of your data within 30 days.
11. Data Backup & Loss
While TellBill implements automated backup systems, we recommend you maintain independent backups of your invoices and data. TellBill is not responsible for data loss resulting from:
- Natural disasters, server failures, or infrastructure outages
- Your failure to backup data
- Third-party service providers (Stripe, RevenueCat, etc.)
- Cyberattacks or unauthorized access due to weak passwords
12. Third-Party Services & Links
TellBill integrates with third-party services including Stripe, RevenueCat, Twilio, and others. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. TellBill is not responsible for the performance, reliability, or conduct of third-party services.
13. Invoices & Legal Responsibility
TellBill is a tool to generate and manage invoices. You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring invoices comply with local tax and business laws
- Accurately reporting income and taxes to relevant authorities
- Including required information (tax IDs, business details, etc.)
- Following payment terms and contract obligations with clients
TellBill does not provide legal or tax advice. Consult a qualified accountant or attorney for tax and legal compliance questions.
14. Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

15. Changes to Terms
TellBill reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

17. Severability

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TellBill regarding the Service and supersede all prior understandings and agreements.
